Bring & Buy / Christmas Fair 2014

On the 29th November we had a very successful Bring & Buy Sale, once again this year, organised by our dedicated PTA. We would like to thank the school and wider communities for their very generous support leading up to this event and on the day. The members of the PTA, teachers and pupils were kept very busy selling books, toys, ornaments, Christmas decorations and cakes. It was great to see people sitting and relaxing in our Tea Rooms!! The children were entertained by the following activities ring a bottle, face painting, WII games, guess the number of jellies in the jar and guess the teacher’s shoe The rolling raffle was a hive of activity all day having been run very efficiently by our resident MC George Lee. The day was made extra special for the children who got an opportunity to meet Santa in his fabulously decorated grotto!

The pupils from 4th & 6th would like to thank Noelene Nash very much for carrying out some wonderful Art & Craft projects with them.  Noelene spent a few mornings working with different groups of pupils and they thoroughly enjoyed same.  The 6th Class were involved in creating the beautiful painted glass candles holders, while Rang a 4 helped design the Christmas logs. 5th Class were very busy and creative during their art classes, making bracelets and characters out of loom bands.  All items sold very well at this year’s fair!!
